Learning in a group setting can be very difficult for me so the one-on-one lessons were ideal. My passion for cloisonne enameling was intense but so was my frustration at being able to overcome the technical issues that were plaguing me. Patsy was so generous with her knowledge even before I ever arrived at her studio. The intensity and clarity of my work has improved 100x and the feedback and success that has come my way is incredible. It has taken me 6 months to finally write this but I have been broadcasting Patsy's prowess to everyone I meet. I met with Patsy before I started making pieces for my upcoming shows. I credit her for the great success that I experienced. I even met several well known jewelers and enamelists that said that the technical aspects of my enamel work were perfect. (I received some great compliments on my designs and color affinity as well) It was all such a wonderful confidence booster that I know would not have happened without the knowledge that I gained from Patsy. When I look at my old pieces which I thought were pretty good at the time, and compare them to my current work I am astonished by the difference. I can't wait to return to Patsy for my next class!
