The cloth is a tool to sit your enamel jewel on when many trivets will not support the jewel without leaving deep marks on the enamel. The weave is fine and will leave a slight texture on the enamel but when refired the texture smooths out.. Kiln cloth can be re-used many times at normal enameling firing temperatures. Sold in 10″ x 10″ pieces.
